Working groups that are open to all of the member organizations carry out the activities of Human Rights Joint Platform (IHOP). Working groups are responsible for developing the content of work for activities as identified within the overall strategic framework and implementing that work. In carrying out those functions, the Work Groups operate in coordination with the Secretariat and they also have an obligation to submit progress reports to the Executive Committee through the Secretariat on a regular basis.
The Working Groups do not have the capacity to represent IHOP.
A coordinator is elected in each work group and voluntary participation is encouraged to the extent the circumstances permit it.
